Each piece is a collaboration between skilled painting and the spontaneous, heartfelt marks of a child. The drawings are carefully selected, cut out, and thoughtfully collaged so they become part of the composition.

I carefully integrate original children’s drawings into my acrylic paintings according to each client’s specific wishes.
The process begins with the child’s artwork, which I gently cut out by hand, preserving every detail of their lines, shapes, and marks. These elements are then thoughtfully positioned and adhered within the composition so they sit naturally alongside the painted layers.
Acrylic paint is applied around and over the drawings in a way that softens edges, builds colour, and creates depth, while still honouring the original child-made marks.
The final result is a cohesive mixed-media painting that blends the spontaneous energy of the child’s drawing with the structure and atmosphere of the acrylic work—always guided by the client’s vision for how the child’s art should appear and feel within the finished piece.

the shaky houses, and the suns that shine,

I give them new soil, where they can stand.
On pots that hold, soft blooming flowers,
those childhood marks, regain their powers.
A forest drawn, with one green streak,
now climbs the curve, of ceramic cheek.
A sky once sketched, by a small free hand,
opens again, where petals expand.
Don’t let them vanish, don’t throw them away.
In every bloom, they gently stay—
growing older, with the child each day,
yet still the wonder, will not fray.
Parents’ quiet memories, children’s bright starts,
